Mercia events 2025 
Event 1 stone medley. 
Points to be award per stone. 3 stones 
1 .pressing stone 10pts 
2 .shouldering stone 5pts 
3 .stone to chest 2pts 
Men's weight 99kg press, 125kg shoulder, 104kg to chest 
Women's 50kgpress 60kg shoulder 70kg to chest 
Event 2 Matthews stones 🪨 
The OGs are back. 2 stones chained by 2.4m of chain have to be picked and carried to complete the 15m course quickest time wins 90second time limit. Distance give if uncompleted. 
Mens 120kg 100kg
Women's 65kg 48kg 
Event 3. Stone throw. Stone can be putted. Thrown from the chest or overhead basically anything goes run ups are allowed. There will be a no cross line. no throw if line crossed. Each athlete will get 2 throws. Best throw scored.
Men's approx 24kg
Women approx 10kg 
Event 4 stone medley. 
2 stones to be loaded on to staggered barrels on the course. Once both stones are loaded onto the barrels, they must be picked from the barrels and carried to the end of the course. 20 m in length 60second time limit 
Men's 125kg 125kg 
Women's 68kg 60kg approx 
Event 5 stone loading to barrels 60 second time limit. Straight from the floor into the barrels
